Navarc is an Istanbul-based marine engineering company designing and manufacturing solar-electric catamarans and passenger ferries. Its R&D center works on hydrofoil systems, CFD-driven hull design, and electric propulsion for the Solarvess and Volster product families.

We are looking for a CFD & Hydrodynamics Engineer to optimize hull resistance, trim behavior, and foil performance across the Solarvess and Volster platforms.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Run CFD simulations to evaluate hull resistance, trim, and flow characteristics
• Compare alternative hull and foil geometries before physical prototyping
• Translate CFD load maps into inputs for structural analysis
• Support sea-trial planning and correlate simulation results with real performance data
• Document findings and maintain simulation model libraries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in naval architecture, mechanical, or aerospace engineering
• Hands-on experience with CFD software
• Solid understanding of hydrodynamics and fluid mechanics fundamentals
• Analytical mindset and comfort working with simulation data

It would be preferred if you have:

• Experience with hydrofoil or planing-hull design
• Scripting experience for simulation automation

You are analytical, comfortable with simulation tools, and genuinely curious about why one hull form beats another. You want your CFD work to matter beyond a report — to actually change what gets built and how a boat performs at sea. You are comfortable working closely with design and production teams to turn simulation results into real design decisions.
