Navarc is an Istanbul-based marine engineering company designing and manufacturing solar-electric catamarans and passenger ferries. Its R&D center works on hydrofoil systems, CFD-driven hull design, and electric propulsion for the Solarvess and Volster product families.

We are looking for a Naval Design & CAD Engineer to shape hull geometries and vessel structures according to performance targets and manufacturability criteria.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Prepare 3D CAD models and technical drawings for hull and structural components
• Optimize hull geometry based on service speed, load, and manufacturability criteria
• Work with the production team on mold design and tolerance studies
• Manage design revisions based on CFD and sea-trial feedback
• Keep design documentation and revision records up to date

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in naval architecture, marine, or mechanical engineering
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software
• Understanding of composite structures and hull manufacturing methods
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline

It would be preferred if you have:

• Experience with hull fairing and surface modeling tools
• Familiarity with CFD or FEA workflows

What are we looking for?

You think in surfaces and load paths, not just lines on a drawing. You are comfortable moving between CAD, production feedback, and CFD input, and you want to see your hull designs turn into real vessels on the water. You take documentation and revision discipline seriously, because a small tolerance mistake in a mold is expensive to fix later.
