Business Development Manager — Commercial Vessels

Navarc is an Istanbul-based marine engineering company designing and manufacturing solar-electric catamarans and passenger ferries. Its R&D center works on hydrofoil systems, CFD-driven hull design, and electric propulsion for the Solarvess and Volster product families.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to build relationships with municipalities, transit operators, and fleet operators for the Solarvess platform.
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Identify and develop commercial opportunities with municipalities and transit operators
- Gather route and operation-profile data to support technical proposals
- Coordinate with the engineering team to shape project-based quotations
- Manage the sales pipeline from first contact through contract signature
- Represent Navarc at industry events and client meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field
- Experience in B2B or B2G sales, ideally in transportation or maritime
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfort working with technical teams on solution-based proposals
It would be preferred if you have:
- Existing network among municipalities or transit operators
- Experience selling capital equipment or infrastructure projects

You are a relationship builder who is equally comfortable talking to a municipal transit director and a Navarc engineer. You know how to turn a route and an operational need into a real technical conversation, and you enjoy the long sales cycles that come with infrastructure-scale projects.
